A New Way to Learn and Explore Flying
Fly with AI is all about making aviation more accessible and exciting, whether you’re a seasoned pilot or simply someone fascinated by the idea of flying. This platform combines a flight simulator with a range of features designed to help you enhance your skills. With Fly with AI, you’ll have your own AI instructor within the simulation—a personal co-pilot and training ground powered by AI. This was achieved through a custom-built AI assistant, with the simulation module entirely developed in C++ on the X-Plane engine. I actively collaborated with a team of three to ensure seamless AI API integration with the simulation, as well as packaging and releasing the final product.
More than a flight simulator
Fly with AI is a comprehensive platform where you can connect with instructors, prepare for flight exams, access valuable learning resources, manage your subscription and become part of the aviation community. While it is an individual platform, it seamlessly interacts with the simulation. You can adjust simulation settings directly within the platform or revisit your chats with the AI in the simulation and continue them. The AI module remembers every detail about you and your conversations, using them to enhance your next simulation experience. I was responsible for the development and design of the entire platform, ensuring smooth integration with the simulation.
Ongoing AI Support
The AI interaction doesn’t end with the simulation. On this platform, you can ask the AI for help with exam preparation, address any unanswered questions from your simulation, and get guidance on how to improve your simulation performance.
